33 - don't be afraid of the chocolate

So, I had this freak out moment when I started reading the ingredient labels for my favorite chocolates. I saw chocolate liquor as one the top ingredients. The first time I noticed it was after I had finished all but two pieces of sea shell chocolates that I usually only find around the holidays. I felt horrible, like I had condemned my child to fetal alcohol syndrome because I couldn't keep myself away from chocolate.

It wasn't until this afternoon that I finally looked up chocolate liquor on wiki and discovered that chocolate liquor is chocolate in liquid form, with equal parts cocoa solids and cocoa butter. Whew! Glad that's cleared up. You better believe this dish of chocolates at the Co-op isn't going to last much longer than past the next meeting!
