Word of the Year Resources
- Karen Walrond (A Trinidadian in Houston; one of my favorite bloggers) has an inspiring take on the word of the year. This post is from 2011 so some of the links may be obsolete. Her 2015 word was "thrive" which has lead to a larger portrait project and so much else.
- My One Word
blog with an interesting take on discarding all ideas about resolutions
(but know that I love resolutions yet find this site helpful). There is
also this post that focuses on how to choose the one word (with some word suggestions).
- Ali Edwards might well have been the woman that started this all, I don't know but she does offer an e-course about exploring your chosen word throughout the year. It is totally affordable so if there is interest I would join you in this class and we could consider sharing with the entire Self Care Society.
- 100 Word of the Year Ideas to spark your Self-Love path. A good site with a good list of words to consider.
- And finally, a list of banished words which I believe must be considered. If a banned book is a must-read then a banished word should be considered, right? Right!
