40 -The cat's in the cradle

Poor Maxine! She's having trouble adjusting to the Baby Pumpkin. So many new things for the cat to climb into, so many temptations! I didn't realize that the Pumpkin had her own security system that keeps the cats away - her own little squeaky cry. Maxine has been sweet, though, and the other day she tried to rub her head against the Baby. Maybe things will all work out right!
