she's feeling better!

We almost didn't go away for the weekend.  Little Lotus Bud got an infection that freaked us out.  She was feverish but the odd thing was that she had heat only on the one side (confirmed also by the doctor).  She had a swollen lymph node and the red skin started to reach across her face and her neck.  She ended up getting her very first round of antibiotics.  And since we've waited this long, I think the antibiotics were potent.  She was better in a day or two.

D insisted that we go away for the weekend and I'm so glad we did.  It felt wonderful to be out in the woods and see my daughter get more energy every day.  The woods were healing for me and my fears.
