gorgeous fall day

Eastside Food Co-op had it's 10 year anniversary party and annual meeting on Sunday.  I had put in a special order of great weather a month ago and the universe delivered!

I coordinated the volunteers, took photos, delivered a speech, introduced the guest speaker, organized the clean-up crew and at the end of the night, danced my butt off.  It was a long exhausting and exhilarating day!  I'm so glad it's all over but that's not to say that I didn't have a great time.  I met tons of people I'd never met before.  With my speech I felt like I made a public debut with the cooperative community.  One of my big dreams I identified this September was to be a community leader.  I've taken huge steps in that direction and to be frank, I'm quite proud of myself.
