rainy day biking

I love this photo and I love this bike.  This image could have better composition but it captures for me the rain in the city, something I very much enjoy.

I frustrate people with how much I enjoy the rain.  I think I've figured out why I enjoy the rain so much.  Have you even waited for the monsoons?  I lived briefly in an Ahmedabad, a hot textile heavy industrial city in Gujurat, India.  I experienced the collective yearning for the monsoon rains.  I felt the heat build and build, then finally I experienced the heat break.  The rain came pouring out of the sky and then it seemed like the entire city was out in the streets to celebrate the precipitation.

I like all form of precipitation including snow and tears.
