Loosened from the mud, I find myself floating in a world of possibility.

So can you.

The day after...

The day after Halloween can be sad.  The excitement of costumes is over, the pumpkins will be subject to squirrel hunger, and the candy supply begins to dwindle.  This morning I felt a little bit of shock about all the candy even though this is my third Halloween with the little one.  I spend all year (actually all of her life) keeping her away from candy and then we spend one evening going around begging candy from all of our neighbors.  We were the only ones to hand out raisins.

Nonetheless the weather was great and the block was beautiful with the wet leaves and the lit pumpkins.  Good memories were made before the inevitable sugar crash.  I can't wait until all the candy is gone.
