One of the major highlights of the last few weeks was catching up with D's extended family.  I didn't even recognize his Iowa cousin in his beard and long hair.  He's a great singer and he has this way of gazing deeply in your eyes as he belts out old country songs.  It makes some of the women feel a bit creepy, but he totally mesmerized my daughter.  I like it a lot, almost as much as I like all the hair.
