Loosened from the mud, I find myself floating in a world of possibility.

So can you.

My new lens came just in time to capture the sparkle of spring! My sacred alone time was spent with my camera, playing around, adjusting my focus. This is the same photo subject but with more sparkle.

  1. Nice! What kind of lens did you get?

    1. I got a Pentax 45-300. It's the "Pentax" that makes it so great. I've always gotten the highly affordable Tamron lenses but now I see a huge difference. The only thing I'm struggling with is that my previous Tamron was 18-200. I miss that lower end and just the other day I noticed there is a Pentax 18-270, so I was a little hasty with my decision. Oh well. I still love the one I got!

    2. Excellent. I just ordered a Nikon 55-300mm for my upcoming Scamp and can't wait to play with it. I'll take my 18-105mm as well, because I agree, I'd miss that short lens. Have fun!

    3. You know what, Deonne? I carry around my older lens with me and it's dang heavy. But when I read your comment, I realized that not once have I pulled it out and put it on the camera, so maybe I'm not missing that lower end as much as I thought I was. Fun! Fun! It's great to have a new lens, isn't it?!

    4. Right! I know someone else who just got the lens length we got, and he said he just keeps it on the camera all the time.
