These blue water photos are a bit misleading. River water is mostly brown expect for late summer when there is green muck. The water gets real mucky where there is less movement in the water so we had to cruise around for a while to find a swifter current in order to swim in a place that was less mucky. There is 6 miles between dams on the river where we swim so there was plenty of space to move around.
