slowing down and filling up
(355)
Getting sick can be a good reminder to slow down. This family has a tendency to do lots of things, be on the road all the time, and seeking adventure in every corner of our region. But I needed to slow down.

And while none of our Solstice plans materialized, I did manage to refocus energy on what feels important to me. Eating healthy foods, drinking tea, listening to music, and hanging out by the fireplace - filling up with family and love. Solstice came and went and, even though nothing went as planned, today it feels good to know we're tipping towards the light.
