morning light

In an effort to reconnect with photography I spent July collecting color. Now it is time for an August Break which begins on day one with morning light.

The next photo makes me remember that August is the last month of summer and that the kid will be returning to school soon. How the light coming in through the backdoir will change by the next month. The change is coming but it certainly isn't here yet.

I had a photo selected for a juried exhibit at the Minneapolis Photo Center!!! Which was a big sign that I'm headed in the direction that is right for me. Who knows where that path will take me. For right now I'm just happy and grateful to have the freedom and mindfulness necessary to capture the light in whatever ways I can.
