Loosened from the mud, I find myself floating in a world of possibility.

So can you.

She's a Natural!

The following post provides instruction on how to create a baby snow angel.

Find a bank of fresh, untouched snow. Bundle up baby in warm snowsuit.

Place the baby cuteness in the snow. Note: this might only work the first time baby encounters snow so make the most of the opportunity. Once she knows what snow is and understands that it causes a cold sensation, snow angels may not be made for a number of years.

Wait for baby to fall over.

Must have sufficient amount of snow in order to watch baby safely fall over. Two feet of snow works just fine.

Allow baby time to maneuver in overly voluminous snowsuit. It may take time to get those limbs placed once topple had occurred.

Let baby sink into snow and lay supine for a few minutes. Inevitably she will start sweeping her arms and legs in a back and forth motion.

You'll find that as time passes, the angel form will begin to appear. Once baby has been distracted by the pretty winter, blue sky (or perhaps the squirrels in the elm tree above her), consider the length of time the snowsuit will keep baby warm.

Keep you eye on the color of baby's nose. Redness might be an indication that the project is near completion.

And voila! Not bad for a first attempt! I'm hoping that all cold weather activities come naturally to her. What a great start to life in snowy Minnesota.

It's snowy here in the Midwest of the US. See what's going on all around the world at Communal Global.
