an unexpected birthday


I met a friend to talk books and discovered it was her birthday.  I wore a dress that I hadn't worn since my own birthday, I felt like somehow I knew it was hers.

This photo isn't what it should be but I like it.  I like that it records those last few minutes where I shared a birthday drink under the rising full moon.
