Loosened from the mud, I find myself floating in a world of possibility.

So can you.

the big slide

One thing that caused a lot of anxiety for me about going to Fair was the rides. You see I have a daring little girl and I am terrified about the rides. I was going to give the big slide a try but when I say the horrified faces of the kids coming down the slide, I knew that I would never make it. The big slide is usually rather slow. But it was the first day of the Fair and I suspect the wax on the big slide was fresh and slick.

So Mama Jenny took the girls and my kiddo chose to sit in the front.

She even caught some air! I don't know how she does it but her cheeks were flushed with excitement when she got to the bottom.

Later when we got home to Daddy, he asked about all the rides and, expressed shock and disappointment that she only got to the big slide. That's when I realized that each parent has a different role when going to the Fair. Moogy takes the girl to the animal barns. Daddy does all the rides.
